Club nights held every Friday - 6.30pm
Swimmers compete against the clock and attempt to better their previous times to gain points. Points are awarded for participation, consistency and for improvement.

Each swimmer can compete in 3 events each week which count towards the point score. Events are repeated for three weeks to enable improvement. Swimmers are graded as tadpoles, frogs, dolphins or whales based on their times for each stroke.

A list of club members will be posted on the door to the timekeepers office (at the far end of the pool). Please indicate by Thursday afternoon if you will be attending the next nights club night. This way we can inform pool management the number of swimmers to expect each Friday night. Races begin at 6:30 sharp.

BBQ sausage and rissole sandwiches are sold by the club each friday night so cooking dinner is a chore that parents don't need to worry about. The whole family can come along and join in.

Parental Support
Running our time trial nights and carnivals takes a lot of organisation. The success of the club depends on the support and assistance of parents. Parents are requested to assist with timekeeping, marshalling and recording times. Parents can encourage their children in their chosen sport through becoming involved in the club and helping events to run smoothly.

Parents are also encouraged to join as swimming members and participate in time trials and carnivals.

Date for 2010 TBC

Club championships are held at the end of the swimming season in March. Swimmers swim in their age group. To be eligible to swim, a swimmer must be a financial member and have competed in at least five time trial nights.
